Claim your credential profile
Your profile is already public. Claim it to unlock update/correction requests, employer visibility, and career notifications.
Why claim your profile?
How profile claiming works
Your profile already exists in our directory of 900,000+ licensed professionals. We built it using public records from state licensing boards, which we update quarterly.
Claiming your profile links your email to it, giving you control over updates and notifications.
Here’s how claiming works:
Upload proof of licensing
Show us you hold the license listed on your profile
We verify your proof
Confirm the document matches your profile’s license information
Approval within one week
You’ll receive an email notification whether your claim is approved or denied
Once approved, your email becomes the key to your profile. You’re the only one who can request updates, submit corrections, and receive career opportunity notifications.
What we verify (and what we don’t)
We’re not checking state board records again—we already do that quarterly for 900,000+ professionals across 50 states.
This verification confirms you are the person who holds the license shown on your profile. We match your uploaded proof (license certificate, state board screenshot, or NCEES/NCARB record) against the license data already in your profile.
Once verified, your email address controls the profile. No one else can claim it or request changes to it.
What you can do after claiming
After your claim is approved, you gain full control:
Request profile updates
Got licensed in a new state? License number changed after renewal? Submit update requests through your claimed profile.
Submit corrections
Found outdated info? Use your verified email to request corrections anytime.
Get discovered by AEC firms
Your claimed profile becomes visible to firms searching for licensed professionals in your region. When they request your resume, you’ll receive an email notification.
Your claimed profile stays in sync with quarterly state board updates, and you can request manual updates between cycles when needed.
