Huntington Ingalls Wins $9.4M Navy Mod for Nuclear Submarine Valve Design
Huntington Ingalls Inc., Newport News, Virginia, was awarded a $9,434,758 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-22-C-2105) to exercise options for planning and design yard activities for standard navy valves installed in commissioned nuclear-powered submarines, submersibles, and aircraft carriers. Work will be performed in Newport News, Virginia. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Navy) in the amount of $2,500,000 will be obligated at time of award and funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
