Elevating Space Command: L3Harris Secures $14.9M for Advanced Integration Efforts

L3Harris Technologies Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been awarded a $14,997,238 contract modification (P00305) to a previously awarded contract (FA8823-20-C-0004) for the Distributed Space Command and Control System Space Mission Platform deployment and integration. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $962,080,341. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 23, 2025. Fiscal 2024 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $14,997,238 are being obligated at the time of award. The Space Systems Center Directorate of Contracting, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting activity.
