Promethean General Contractors LLC,* New Orleans, Louisiana, was awarded a $7,519,561 firm-fixed-price contract to furnish all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and construction of levee enlargement and berms. Bids were solicited via the internet with 14 received. Work will be performed in Newellton, Louisiana with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2026. Fiscal 2025 civil construction funds in the amount of $7,519,561 were obligated at the time of the award.
