DTEX Systems Collaborates with Google Public Sector, Carahsoft and Coalfire to Supercharge Insider Risk Defenses in US Government
SAN JOSE, Calif. – DTEX Systems, the global leader for insider risk management, today announced it is collaborating with Google Public Sector, Carahsoft Technology Corp. and Coalfire to expedite its FedRAMP accreditation.
“The technologies behind DTEX and its offerings are exactly what the Federal government needs when it comes to putting exceptional security processes in place for insider risk management.”
The collaboration will enable DTEX to expand its Federal footprint while accelerating adoption and time-to-value of its purpose-built InTERCEPT platform for Federal insider risk management.
“Recent cases of data loss, including the leaks of classified Pentagon documents, highlight the need for risk adaptive technologies to proactively prevent insider-related security incidents,” said Marshall Heilman, DTEX Systems CEO. “Thanks to our new partnership, we can give our institutions the mission-critical technologies they need, faster, to win the cyber arms race.”
Under the collaboration, Carahsoft – one of the public sector’s largest IT solution providers – will enable DTEX to leverage Coalfire’s FedRAMP advisory services to aid in achieving their FedRAMP Authority-to-Operate (ATO). This will enable DTEX to confidently accelerate FedRAMP authorization and fast-track entry into new Federal markets.
“Google Public Sector is committed to working with partners such as DTEX Systems to fast-track compliance and bring innovative data-driven technologies, including AI, and expertise to government agencies faster,” said Troy Bertram, managing director of Google Cloud’s Public Sector Partner Ecosystem.
The announcement comes shortly after the White House issued a memo for modernizing FedRAMP. The memo seeks public comment on a draft plan which, among other things, seeks to “accelerate the secure adoption of cloud products in the Federal Government.”
“Clearly the White House recognizes that next-generation technology adoption is critical to national security. This collaboration is another step forward in helping the public sector to move from reactive incident response to proactive mitigation,” Heilman said.
“The Federal government’s cloud-first mission to certify vendors more easily for cyber-secure services, along with our FedRAMP Accelerator Program, provides an opportunity for companies like DTEX to fast-track ATO to meet the needs of federal agencies,” said Craig Abod, President, Carahsoft. “The DTEX InTERCEPT platform will provide Federal organizations the intelligence needed to stop insider risks from becoming insider threats.”
“We are excited to have DTEX on board as a participant in this program,” said Tom McAndrew, CEO, Coalfire. “The technologies behind DTEX and its offerings are exactly what the Federal government needs when it comes to putting exceptional security processes in place for insider risk management.”
The DTEX InTERCEPT platform has successfully demonstrated the ability to detect all relevant categories described in the Committee on National Security Systems Directive (CNSSD) 504 and was validated by the National Insider Threat Task Force (NITTF) in 2022.
InTERCEPT is the only modern technology that combines the required UAM capabilities under CNSSD 504, together with fully integrated data loss prevention and user behavior analytics capabilities in a single cloud-native platform. This will make InTERCEPT the first FedRAMP-accredited UAM solution to date.
DTEX’s comprehensive solutions for addressing insider risks will be available on Google Cloud Marketplace in 2024. To learn more about DTEX Systems, please visit www.dtexsystems.com.
