OVERVIEW:

Have you considered expanding your portfolio into the growing Defense space market? If so, you will not want to miss this event! The Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Small Business office has partnered with the US Space Force (USSF) and Wright Brothers Institute (WBI) to host “The Sky is not the Limit: USSF Mission & Small Business Opportunities.” This 2 day hybrid event, the afternoons of August 16 and 17, will provide you a comprehensive overview of the USSF mission, threat assessment and organizational structure, as well as the POCs and connections needed to pursue small business opportunities. From the major USSF Field Commands, SYSCOM and SpOC, to the Space Development Agency and Space Rapid Capability Office, you will have the opportunity to hear and engage with USSF leaders in a 2 day time-span.

Both in-person and virtual attendance is available. If you plan to attend in person, the event will be live at WBI’s downtown Dayton, OH, location, 444 E. Second St. There are limited in-person seats available, so sign-up early.

On the morning of day 2, Aug 17, there may be an opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives of the Space Development Agency (SDA) . These sessions will be scheduled for 15 minutes on a first come/first served basis and is only available for in-person attendees. While registering, please indicate your interest.

• NOTE: before indicating interest in a one-on-one, please review the SDA’s site, https://www.sda.mil/home/about-us – to determine whether your product or service supports their mission execution; i.e., quickly deploying disruptive space technology in low Earth orbit (LEO).

During the registration process, we kindly request you to indicate your preferred attendance duration—either one or both days. Naturally, we encourage you not to miss out on either of the insightful sessions.

If you would like to fly or drive into Dayton to attend in-person the 2-Day Collider it is highly recommended. USSF Presenters will be in-person at Wright Brothers Institute – 444 facility to answer any of your questions.
