Legal Basics Workshop for New Entrepreneurs
The Bronx Small Business Development Center at Lehman College (SBDC)
This 1.5-hour workshop will cover the legal basics that every entrepreneur looking to work independently or to start a small business needs to know.
You will learn about the benefits and disadvantages of running your business as a sole proprietorship and how to determine if you are ready to form a legal entity. We will also review some common legal problems that one may encounter when running a business and how these can be avoided!
