Intro to Pandas

In this lecture, you will learn what Pandas DataFrames are, who uses them, when they are used, and, most importantly, how they are used. We will cover the concepts and intuition behind the DataFrame. That will conclude the lecture portion of the workshop.

We’ll then launch into a guided code-together where you will get hands-on exposure to Pandas. We will cover the essentials for creating your (possibly) first DataFrame and populating it with data. We will then advance to reading in data from some of the most common data source formats you might encounter in the wild. Next, we will cover “data wrangling” and transforming the data inside DataFrames.
