Galvanize Datathon

This event was organized by Galvanize in cooperation with our partners at Rapids AI, Tigergraph, and Graphistry. Both tracks will be performing analyses on data from the same source: New York State energy reports. Over the course of the last year, there has been significant changes in the load on New York energy. These loads are recorded by the state at a cadence of every 5 minutes. Participants in this datathon will utilize a sampled data set from this source dataset. The beginner track will learn how to use the various beginner level skills needed for the Data Science Immersive within the context of the dataset, and the advanced track will be given a machine learning challenge using a similar dataset.
