ASSETS at 30: Celebrating a Legacy of Building an Equitable Economy

This celebration of 30 years of ASSETS will be a convening of innovators and entrepreneurs who are passionate about small business. 

We’re pleased to invite you to ASSETS at 30! For 30 years, ASSETS has been providing equitable access to resources for entrepreneurs in the Lancaster community. Join us on Tuesday, September 12, 6-8:30 pm at Southern Market to celebrate the entrepreneurs and community partners who have contributed to building an ethical and equitable economy. Doors will open at 5:30 pm.

This celebration of 30 years of ASSETS will be a convening of innovators, dreamers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who are passionate about small business and building an ethical and equitable economy #BuiltByUs.

Who is the “us” in this equation? They are the changemakers, catalysts, and owners of small businesses, mom-and-pop shops, retail stores, restaurants, barbershops, salons, and other businesses that start their days earlier and end their days late. They live and breathe their business to provide for their family and change the trajectory of their community for the better. Business resources providers like ASSETS are just a fraction of the story that must be told and that we continue to write as a community. Women and BIPOC entrepreneurs are moving the needle and transforming our communities through small business. For 30 years, ASSETS has stood by these entrepreneurs and will be committed to serving them for another 30-plus years or until we see an economy where everyone thrives and prosper. Together we can create an ethical and equitable economy #BuiltByUs.
