The use of Collaborative robots, or Cobots, has seen a significant increase in recent years due to their ability to work alongside humans in various industries. However, ensuring safe and reliable interactions between humans and Cobots is critical to avoid any potential harm. Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a promising solution to address such concerns by enabling Cobots to learn from human interactions, adapt to changing environments, and respond accordingly.

This session focuses on the latest advancements in the field of Generative AI for safe and reliable interactions with Collaborative Robots. The aim is to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to discuss the use of Generative AI techniques such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), and Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) to enhance the performance of Cobots. The session also explores how Generative AI can mitigate risks associated with human-Cobot interactions, such as collisions, errors in communication, and potential malfunctions.

Presenter: Gautam Siwach
