Sterling Heights’ Vanguard: General Dynamics Awarded $10.9M Prototype Contract
General Dynamics Land Systems, Sterling Heights, Michigan, was awarded a $10,926,309 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for design of one Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle Medium Caliber Autocannon prototype vehicle. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Michigan, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 24, 2024. Fiscal 2024 research, development, test and evaluation, Marine Corps funds in the amount of $5,452,228 were obligated at the time of the award.
