Securing the Shield: Lockheed Martin’s $8.5M Contract Modification for Aegis BMD
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, Moorestown, New Jersey, is being awarded a sole-source, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification (P00099) under Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Weapon Systems contract HQ085121C0002. The total value of this contract modification is $8,491,442. This modification will establish new contract line-item numbers for the procurement of maintenance and security required upgrades for the Beowulf Cluster, Mobile Assets, Tail Sites, and the Advanced Threat Lab for Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense. The work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey, with period of performance from time of award through January 31, 2025. Fiscal 2023 and 2024 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $8,491,442 will be obligated at the time of award.
