Seafix Inc. Secures $24 Million for Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of Navy Systems

Seafix Inc., Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, is awarded a $24,000,000 hybrid, firm-fixed-price, cost, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Navy Afloat maintenance services II. This contract provides for preventive and corrective maintenance for Navy Improved Lighterage Systems aboard Military Sealift Command ships supporting the USMC Maritime Prepositioning Forces (MPF) outside the continental U.S. (OCONUS); and ashore at various OCONUS locations; and Blount Island Command (BIC), Jacksonville, Florida. Work will be performed primarily aboard MPF Ships, at BIC, and at other OCONUS locations as required.  The expected completion date is Jan. 14, 2030. This contract includes one option for transition that will not be exercised as the award is to the incumbent. No funds will be obligated for this contract, and the appropriate fiscal Navy operation and maintenance funds will be obligated at time of award for all subsequent task orders. These funds will not expire during the duration of the task order. This contract was competitively procured via the SAM.gov website with one proposal received.
