Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Monroeville, Pennsylvania, is awarded a $706,099,984 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for naval nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Monroeville, Pennsylvania (75%); and Schenectady, New York (25%), and is expected to be completed by September 2033. Fiscal 2024 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $459,599,992 will be obligated at time of award and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
