$45 Million Cost-Reimbursable Order for Sikorsky: Engine and Torque Limit Testing on VH-92A Aircraft
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Lockheed Martin Co., Stratford, Connecticut, is awarded a not-to-exceed $45,000,000 cost-reimbursable undefinitized order (N0001925F0147) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001923G0002). This order provides for the testing and certification of the 2.5% above minimum specification all engines operating takeoff engine power as well as the analysis, engineering and test and certification planning of 105% transient drive system torque limit on the VH-92A Patriot aircraft for the Navy. Work will be completed in Stratford, Connecticut (50.01%); Lynn, Massachusetts (22.6%); Cedar Rapids, Iowa (10.62%); Vergennes, Vermont (8.55%); West Palm Beach, Florida (3.65%); Orlando, Florida (1.27%); Fort Worth, Texas (1.18%); Trumbull, Connecticut (1%); and other various locations within the continental U.S. (1.12%), and will be completed in April 2027. Fiscal 2025 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $10,000,000 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
