$20M Boost for Sikorsky: Securing Gearbox and Accessories Contract for Army Aircraft Maintenance

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut, has been awarded a maximum $20,472,096 firm-fixed-price one-time buy delivery order (SPRRA124F0029) against a five-year basic ordering agreement (SPE4A1-22-G-0005) for intermediate gearbox and gearbox accessories. This is a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1), as stated in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. This is two-year contract with no option periods. The delivery order completion date is Sept. 27, 2026. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2024 through 2026 Army working capital funds.
