$15.3M Deal Ensures Sargent Aerospace Delivers 104 Valves for Virginia-Class Submarines

Sargent Aerospace & Defense LLC, Tucson, Arizona, is awarded a not-to-exceed $15,271,984 undefinitized contract action for the procurement of 104 linear direct valves used on the Virginia-class submarines. This is a stand-alone contract with no options. All work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by June 2039. Working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $11,453,988 will be obligated at time of award, and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One company was solicited for this sole-source requirement with one offer received.
