American Water Military Services Group Recognized by Florida Department of Environmental Protection with 2024 Wastewater Plant Operations Excellence Award
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., and American Water Military Services Group, announced today it was awarded the 2024 Wastewater Plant Operations Excellence Award at Naval Station (NS) Mayport, Fla. by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). This recognition was based on overall treatment plant operation, maintenance, and compliance.

The award was presented at a ceremony during the Focus on Change seminar, hosted by DEP and the Florida Rural Water Association at Florida Gateway College, Lake City, Fla. in late March.
