From Plan to Progress: Navigating SSPs for CMMC Readiness
SSP
A System Security Plan (SSP) outlines the necessary cybersecurity practices required to protect Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) as they relate to the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). It details an organization’s existing security controls, as well as plans for future implementations to meet the necessary requirements. An SSP aids organizations in documenting and aligning their security posture with the expectations put forth by the Department of Defense.
This entry in Project Spectrum Cyber Circuits webinar series will feature Dr. Dwayne Hodges. Dr. Hodges is a highly accomplished cybersecurity leader and Lead CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA), bringing over 30 years of combined military and industry experience to complex cybersecurity challenges. His expertise spans Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), NIST frameworks (800-53, 800-171), CMMC, ISO 27001, NYDFS, and more.
