Capital Summit to Provide Small Business Funding Options

Entrepreneurs looking to grow or start their business will have access to dozens of funding options at the free Eastern Sierra Capital Summit to be held online and in person Friday, June 28 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by 9 presenters in a “reverse shark tank” format where lenders and assistance providers will detail loans, investment capital and grants. Topics will include SBA and traditional small business loan programs up to $10 million, micro business loans that start at $ 10,000, investment and capital-based programs such as venture capital, crowdfunding, and more.
Co-sponsored by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield, Mono County Economic Development, and the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce, the event will be held at the Westin Monache Resort in Mammoth Lakes.
In person attendees will be able to meet with presenters and lenders for individual questions. Seating is limited and advance registration is required. The Summit will also be webcast via Zoom. There is no cost to attend.
