Tracey leads comprehensive marketing and communications strategy for Brasfield & Gorrie, supporting the firm’s mission of building with spirit for people, partners, communities, and the shared future. As Vice President of Marketing for one of the nation’s largest privately held construction firms founded in 1964 with over 4,300 employees across 13 offices, she oversees a team of 26+ marketing and communications professionals spread throughout eight offices in six states, managing brand strategy, proposal coordination, client relationship development, and market positioning for a company ranked #21 on Engineering News-Record’s Top 400 Contractors list and #1 in ENR Southeast.

Her expertise spans construction marketing, proposal development, strategic communications, and team leadership across diverse markets including healthcare (the firm’s specialty representing one-third of business), commercial, institutional, federal, municipal, industrial, infrastructure, and water treatment. Tracey brings comprehensive knowledge of AEC marketing best practices gained through 30+ years of progressive experience, including nearly 15 years leading Brasfield & Gorrie’s national marketing operations since joining the firm in November 2010.

With proven capabilities in marketing process development, business systems procedures, workload management, staffing optimization, and leading distributed teams across multiple states, Tracey has established herself as a respected industry leader who understands the strategic value of marketing excellence in supporting one of the construction industry’s most recognized and powerful brands. Her leadership has contributed to Brasfield & Gorrie’s growth from $2 billion in 2010 revenues to over $6.4 billion in 2024, with projections of $7.3 billion for 2025.

Industry leadership

Tracey demonstrates exceptional professional leadership through her CPSM certification and sustained active engagement with SMPS Central Florida, one of the most dynamic chapters in the state. Her commitment to advancing professional services marketing excellence has earned her significant recognition, including induction into the SMPS Central Florida Hall of Fame—the chapter’s highest honor acknowledging sustained contributions to AEC marketing profession and lasting impact on the regional construction community.

As Past President of SMPS Central Florida, Tracey provided strategic leadership during a critical period in the chapter’s development, guiding programming, professional development initiatives, and networking events that serve hundreds of AEC marketing professionals throughout the region. Her presidential leadership reflected the values-driven approach that characterizes successful construction marketing leaders committed to collaboration, continuous learning, and industry advancement.

Tracey’s thought leadership on company culture emphasizes that Brasfield & Gorrie’s remarkable brand has been created and nurtured through passion and enthusiasm as primary components. She advocates for the importance of reading and continuing to learn as vital skills to stay current with new trends and technology, positioning Salesforce’s Dreamforce conference as a valuable resource for better understanding of data and content management systems that power modern marketing operations.

As a trailblazer who helped establish pathways for women in construction leadership, Tracey emphasizes that providing value is the key to getting a seat at the table—a principle that has guided her career progression from regional marketing roles to national marketing leadership at one of the industry’s most respected firms. Her tenure now includes seven women serving as Vice Presidents at Brasfield & Gorrie, reflecting the cultural evolution she has helped champion.
