As Vice President of Business Development for ECS Mid-Atlantic, she drives client relationship development and market expansion strategies for a nationally recognized firm that has grown to over 2,500 employees across 80+ offices throughout the United States. Her role encompasses strategic planning, client partnership development, and market intelligence to support ECS’s position as #2 on the Zweig Group Hot Firms List.

Her expertise spans commercial real estate development, infrastructure projects, and institutional construction serving both public and private sector clients. Suzanne brings specialized knowledge in geotechnical engineering markets, environmental consulting services, construction materials testing, and facilities engineering with deep experience in business development strategy, client relationship management, and market positioning across the Mid-Atlantic region.

With over 20 years of marketing and business development experience, she has contributed to growth excellence at prominent organizations including The Peterson Companies, Justice Federal Credit Union, and Branch Builds. Her comprehensive understanding of the real estate development process enables effective business development support for complex engineering projects serving major property owners, developers, and institutional clients throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area and beyond.

Industry leadership

Suzanne demonstrates exceptional professional leadership through her CPSM certification achievement and distinguished service as President of SMPS Washington DC for the 2024-2025 term. Her fifth consecutive year on the SMPS DC Board of Directors represents one of the most sustained leadership commitments in the chapter, having previously served as President-Elect, Director of Special Events, Director of Procurement, and multiple other board positions since joining the board in 2021. Under her leadership, SMPS Washington DC continues its reputation as one of the premier chapters in the SMPS national network.

As an active ULI NEXT Program member for many years, Suzanne has moderated industry panels on topics including the future of parking, demonstrating her ability to facilitate thought leadership discussions across diverse stakeholder groups. Her involvement in multiple real estate-focused professional organizations including ULI, NAIOP, CREW, and AOBA positions her as a connector across the commercial real estate and AEC industries.

Suzanne’s leadership extends to industry event participation, including regular attendance at ICSC CenterBuild where she hosts annual roundtable sessions on “Business Development in the A/E/C Industry,” sharing her expertise with national audiences.
