Sarah drives marketing strategy and proposal management for WHKS & Co., a full-service civil engineering, planning, and land surveying firm serving the upper Midwest with offices across Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois. As Senior Associate and Marketing Coordinator, she supports a multidisciplinary practice spanning municipal engineering, transportation infrastructure, structural engineering, water and wastewater services, and environmental consulting.
Her expertise encompasses transportation infrastructure projects, municipal engineering services, water resources management, structural design, and land development serving public sector clients and municipal governments throughout the Midwest region. Sarah brings specialized knowledge in civil engineering marketing, with deep experience in proposal development, project pursuit coordination, and client relationship management for government and municipal clients.
With her foundation from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, she has built comprehensive marketing capabilities supporting infrastructure projects that improve communities and enhance public facilities across the region. Her work helps position WHKS—a firm with more than 75 years of engineering excellence since 1948—for competitive advantage in securing essential infrastructure projects.
Sarah demonstrates exceptional professional commitment through her CPSM certification achievement and active community leadership as a board member of the Southwest Wisconsin Technical College Foundation, where she serves with investment panel responsibilities for the United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States.
