Industry leadership

Sally exemplifies exceptional AEC marketing leadership, honored in 2023 as a Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services—an elite designation recognizing the highest level of experience and leadership in the profession. Her Fellow recognition places her among just 132 professionals nationwide who exemplify sustained excellence in marketing and business development within the architecture, engineering, and construction industries.

As Past President of the SMPS San Antonio Chapter, Sally led one of Texas’s most active professional marketing communities, shaping programming that advances the entire regional AEC marketing profession. Her chapter leadership included organizing the 2014 SMPS national convention in San Antonio, where she coordinated downtown tours showcasing the city’s architectural heritage and civic infrastructure projects. Sally’s commitment to professional development extends to facilitating CPSM study groups, helping emerging professionals achieve certification while strengthening the marketing profession’s standards.

Recognized with the 2016 Leonardo Award for marketing innovation and achievement, Sally has demonstrated creativity and strategic thinking that drives both organizational success and industry advancement. Her contributions to SMPS include serving multiple years as a juror for the national SMPS Marketing Communication Awards, writing CPSM examination questions to maintain certification rigor, contributing articles to The Marketer magazine, and actively participating in the mentor-protégé program supporting small and emerging firms.

Sally’s involvement extends beyond SMPS to broader community leadership, currently serving on the Board of Directors and as Chair of the Small Business Council for the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.
