Rikki drives comprehensive marketing strategy for ColeBreit Engineering, a woman-owned MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering and design consulting firm serving the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. As Marketing Manager, she provides strategic marketing leadership for a rapidly growing firm with six offices across Oregon (Bend, Corvallis, Medford) and California (Monterey, Napa, Santa Cruz), supporting ColeBreit’s mission of delivering quality, integrity, and expertise through fully integrated engineering services.
Her expertise spans MEP engineering marketing with specialization in communicating complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering solutions to architects, contractors, property owners, and operators. Rikki brings comprehensive knowledge of the AEC industry, having joined ColeBreit Engineering to lead marketing initiatives for a certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) that has grown from a solo operation founded by Laura Breit in 2013 to a vibrant 50+ person company following the 2022 acquisition and merger with Axiom Engineers.
With extensive AEC marketing experience, Rikki supports ColeBreit’s positioning as a client-focused firm excelling in Building Information Modeling (BIM), LEED and sustainable design, design-assist, integrated project delivery (IPD), and commissioning services. Her marketing leadership communicates ColeBreit’s differentiated approach: principals involved in every project, fully integrated MEP teams, and unwavering commitment to excellent work that serves architects, contractors, and property owners throughout diverse market sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, hospitality, multifamily residential, industrial, and agricultural projects.
Rikki’s proven track record includes developing marketing strategies that support ColeBreit’s growth trajectory, strengthening brand presence across Oregon and California markets, and positioning the firm’s woman-owned business certifications for competitive advantage. Her understanding of MEP engineering markets enables effective communication of technical services including HVAC design, electrical engineering, plumbing systems, fire protection, lighting design, energy modeling, and commissioning—translating complex engineering capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with clients evaluating engineering partners for sustainable, efficient, and code-compliant building systems.
Rikki demonstrates exceptional professional leadership through her CPSM certification and marketing expertise supporting a woman-owned engineering firm committed to diversity, equity, and excellence. Her role at ColeBreit Engineering positions her at the intersection of technical MEP engineering and strategic business development, where she advances the firm’s mission of creating an excellent workplace that delivers excellent work for clients and communities.
As marketing leader for a certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) with MWBE designations in Oregon, Washington, California, and the federal government, Rikki champions diversity in the AEC industry. Her marketing leadership communicates how ColeBreit’s founding principles—quality, integrity, expertise, and diverse perspectives—differentiate the firm in competitive MEP engineering markets. Under CEO Laura Breit’s leadership, ColeBreit has grown from a solo operation to over 50 professionals, demonstrating the success of woman-led engineering firms when paired with exceptional technical capabilities and client service.
Rikki’s professional philosophy centers on supporting ColeBreit’s core values: principals involved in every project, fully integrated MEP teams collaborating seamlessly, and A-team performance without B-team alternatives. Her marketing strategies emphasize accessibility, approachability, and technical excellence—positioning ColeBreit as an agile firm that “thinks big” to deliver full-service, detail-oriented engineering and consulting services.
Her understanding of sustainable design markets enables effective communication of ColeBreit’s LEED expertise, energy modeling capabilities, and commissioning services. With substantial experience in affordable housing projects (HUD, FHA, UFAS, ESDS, PHIUS requirements), LEED certified projects, and sustainable design initiatives, Rikki markets technical capabilities that address clients’ sustainability goals while maintaining code compliance and functional performance.
Beyond traditional marketing responsibilities, Rikki supports ColeBreit’s culture transformation through the firm’s implementation of Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), which began in September 2022 following the Axiom Engineers acquisition. Her marketing leadership aligns with the company’s strategic planning, goal setting, accountability, and efficiency frameworks that enable sustainable growth across six office locations and remote team members throughout the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.
