With nearly two decades of AEC industry experience, Perryn has contributed to marketing excellence across diverse roles—from leading The Brand Constructors construction marketing division to serving as Chief Marketing Officer for REX.one (encompassing construction, engineering, and robotics companies) and as Chief Strategy Officer for a high-growth IT firm serving construction, automotive, and medical markets.
Perryn demonstrates exceptional industry leadership as a Fellow of SMPS (FSMPS), representing the highest level of experience and leadership recognition in marketing and business development within the design and building industry. As Past President of SMPS Southeast Louisiana and a member of the chapter’s hall of fame, he has shaped professional development and networking opportunities for hundreds of AEC marketing professionals throughout the Gulf South region.
His national SMPS service includes co-chairing the 2015 Southern Regional Conference in New Orleans and serving on numerous society-level committees and task forces that advance the profession. Currently, Perryn continues contributing to the chapter through advisory board service and programming committee involvement, helping shape educational initiatives that benefit the entire AEC marketing community.
As a nationally recognized thought leader, Perryn authored The Construction Executive’s Guide to Brand Marketing and ghostwrote The CFO’s Guide to Cybersecurity. He recently published the groundbreaking 2025 Construction SEO Report, analyzing nearly 900 websites across the ENR Top 400 Contractors and ENR Top 500 Design Firms to provide the industry’s only comprehensive SEO benchmarks. Perryn has spoken extensively at major industry conferences including SMPS, ABC, CFMA, and AGC, and is a frequent guest on industry podcasts discussing construction marketing, technology, and business development strategies.
