Morgan leads comprehensive communications strategy and corporate messaging for H2M architects + engineers (Holzmacher, McLendon & Murrell, P.C.), a multi-disciplinary design and engineering firm with 90+ years of shaping Long Island and Northeast infrastructure. As Communications Manager based in Melville, New York, she oversees internal and external communications, brand messaging, and strategic positioning for a firm listed on the New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry—celebrating nearly a century of architectural, engineering, and consulting excellence since founder Henry “Gus” Holzmacher launched the practice in his Bethpage basement in 1933.
Her expertise spans AEC communications with specialized knowledge in corporate messaging, internal communications, brand strategy, and public relations across architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, environmental services, water resources, land surveying, and planning disciplines. Morgan brings comprehensive understanding of integrated communications supporting a firm that engineered Long Island’s public water supply systems, designed countless municipal facilities, and advocated successfully for the federal ban on lead and solder in drinking water supplies.
With professional communications experience at a historic engineering firm serving Long Island communities for nine decades, Morgan contributes to H2M’s legacy of technical excellence and community service. Her knowledge of H2M’s comprehensive capabilities—encompassing architecture, civil/site engineering, MEP engineering, structural engineering, environmental services, surveying, landscape architecture, planning, forensics, and construction administration—enables effective communications leadership for a firm founded during the Great Depression that has completed hundreds of public works projects including water supply systems, fire stations, school districts, parks, and municipal infrastructure throughout the Northeast.
Morgan demonstrates professional leadership through her CPSM certification and communications management at one of Long Island’s most historic engineering firms. Her role supporting H2M—listed on New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry—positions her as steward of 90+ year legacy dating to 1933 when founder Henry Holzmacher began engineering Long Island’s water supply infrastructure.
As Communications Manager, Morgan crafts messaging honoring H2M’s historic contributions including Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation projects during WWII (1944 runway improvements), pioneering work following the Clean Water Act of 1972 helping municipalities obtain federal funds, and 2006 achievement becoming first U.S. firm developing perchlorate removal techniques. Her communications support a firm whose founders—Robert Holzmacher, Samuel McLendon, Norman Murrell—built Long Island’s water infrastructure serving millions.
Morgan’s communications work celebrates H2M’s evolution from Henry Holzmacher’s 1933 basement practice to today’s multi-disciplinary firm with offices in Melville, Suffern NY, and expanded regional presence. Her messaging connects H2M’s 90-year heritage with contemporary capabilities serving education, municipal, water/wastewater, transportation, and private development clients.
