Megan leads comprehensive marketing and communications strategy for Edifice Construction, an ENR Top 400 general contractor that has been building trust and lasting partnerships across the Carolinas since 1978. As Director of Marketing & Communications, she oversees corporate branding, strategic communications, proposal development, and business development marketing support for a firm recognized for 63 project-specific awards and distinction as an ABC Accredited Quality Contractor for 13 consecutive years.
Her expertise spans multiple construction sectors including K-12 and higher education, faith-based facilities, healthcare and senior living, industrial and manufacturing, local government and public safety, corporate interiors, commercial and mixed-use, retail, self-storage, and sports and recreation projects. Megan brings specialized knowledge in general contracting, construction management, and design-build delivery methods serving public and private sector clients throughout North and South Carolina.
With over 12 years of AEC industry experience, she has held progressive marketing roles at national construction firms including DPR Construction and Barton Malow Company, and earlier career experience at Frederick Ward Associates in architecture and engineering marketing. Her background includes a degree in Mass Communications with a focus on Public Relations and Marketing from Towson University (2008-2012).
Megan demonstrates professional leadership through her CPSM certification achievement earned in 2022, joining the distinguished class of certified AEC marketing professionals recognized by SMPS for mastery of professional services marketing competencies. Prior to joining Edifice Construction, Megan gained valuable experience in construction marketing at DPR Construction, where she participated in the company’s Healthcare Fellowship program and professional development initiatives including the WIC (Women In Construction) Week programs. Her career progression from Marketing Coordinator roles at Barton Malow Company to senior leadership positions reflects sustained dedication to excellence in construction marketing.
