Lee leads comprehensive client solutions and strategic business development for one of the nation’s leading construction management firms at JE Dunn Construction, where she supports the Atlanta office’s growth across education, healthcare, aviation, industrial, and commercial markets. As Vice President and Senior Client Solutions Director, she drives project sales opportunities exceeding $100 million, with specialized focus on higher education and K-12 educational facilities serving public and private sector clients throughout the Southeast.

Her expertise spans over 25 years in A/E/C marketing and business development, with deep specialization in construction project marketing, proposal management, client relationship intelligence, and strategic planning for multi-office construction firms. Lee brings comprehensive capabilities in CRM and database management, sales pipeline tracking, client debriefing processes, and trade association leadership that connects market opportunities with strategic positioning.

With extensive experience serving Atlanta Public Schools, Georgia Institute of Technology, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and major university systems, Lee’s marketing leadership supports JE Dunn’s reputation as a consistent “best places to work” employer and leader in sustainable construction practices. Her strategic approach integrates relationship-building expertise developed across hospitality management, talent agency operations, and construction marketing—creating a distinctive perspective that positions client experience and relationship cultivation as the foundation of business development success.

Industry leadership

Lee demonstrates exceptional professional leadership as a 2019 Fellow of SMPS (FSMPS), representing the highest level of achievement in A/E/C marketing and business development. Her transformative SMPS Georgia Chapter presidency (2006-2007) earned Outstanding Large Chapter recognition and produced the innovative Georgia A/E/C Leadership Roundtable, a collaborative forum that continues advancing professional excellence throughout the region. Named SMPS Georgia New Member of the Year (2003) and Marketer of the Year (2009), Lee has served in every progressive leadership role from Director of Membership through President and Immediate Past President.

At the national SMPS level, Lee co-chaired the prestigious Marketing Communications Awards Committee (2013-2014), overseeing the industry’s most distinguished recognition program for marketing excellence. She currently chairs the Blueprints Committee, shaping programs that guide members through career transitions and professional development milestones. Her Executive Advisory Council service (2010-present) provides strategic direction for the entire Society.

Beyond SMPS, Lee serves on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors as Chair of the Talent and Leadership Committee (2022-2023), directly influencing statewide workforce development and educational policy. As a Leadership Georgia alumna (Class of 2019), she connects business leadership with civic responsibility. Lee also serves as Vice Chair of the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education, advancing educational opportunities statewide, and sits on the Georgia Charter Schools Association board, championing innovative public education models.

Her creative contributions extend to published authorship through the Scout About children’s book series, combining photography and storytelling to inspire geographic literacy and outdoor exploration for families nationwide. This entrepreneurial venture reflects her commitment to experiential learning and family engagement—values that inform her relationship-centered approach to business development.
