Jeremy leads marketing and business development strategy as a Principal and owner at Design West Engineering, one of the Pacific Northwest and California’s leading MEP engineering firms. Since joining the firm in 2020, he has been instrumental in expanding Design West’s market presence across the West Coast, supporting a multi-disciplinary practice specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, commissioning, fire protection, and technology systems engineering.
His expertise spans K-12 education, higher education, commercial, industrial, residential, government, and healthcare building sectors across both public and private development markets. Jeremy brings specialized knowledge in strategic business development, client relationship management, and market positioning for engineering firms operating in competitive regional markets.
With his business administration background from the University of California, Riverside, Jeremy combines technical market understanding with strategic growth planning. His leadership supports Design West Engineering’s mission of delivering exceptional service and innovative engineering solutions that have defined the firm’s 25-year legacy across Washington and California.
Jeremy demonstrates exceptional professional leadership through his CPSM certification and active service as CPSM Co-Chair for SMPS Seattle, one of the most vibrant chapters in the Pacific Northwest region. In this critical volunteer role, he coordinates the Pacific Regional CPSM Study Sessions, providing monthly educational support to aspiring CPSMs across multiple states and facilitating access to professional development resources that advance the entire regional AEC marketing community.
As SMPS Seattle’s CPSM Co-Chair, Jeremy leads certification study groups, manages Markendium resource distribution, and mentors members pursuing their CPSM credentials. His leadership ensures Seattle chapter members have comprehensive support throughout their certification journey, from initial information sessions through exam preparation and beyond.
Jeremy’s transition to firm ownership in 2024 reflects Design West Engineering’s commitment to developing marketing and business development leadership. His dual role as both a principal owner and active SMPS volunteer demonstrates how professional association engagement strengthens both individual careers and organizational growth.
