With over 25 years of AEC industry experience, he has contributed to marketing excellence at prominent firms including VHB, Eng-Wong Taub & Associates, Horizon Engineering Associates, Thornton Tomasetti (formerly Weidlinger Associates), and STV.
His comprehensive understanding of multidisciplinary consulting services enables effective marketing leadership for complex infrastructure and environmental projects, helping position AKRF’s independent consulting approach for sustained competitive advantage in the Northeast corridor.
Jeffrey exemplifies the highest standards of professional leadership through his FSMPS distinction—named Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services in 2019, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the AEC marketing profession. This prestigious recognition represents the pinnacle achievement for marketing professionals in the design and construction industries, requiring 15 years of experience, 10 years of active SMPS membership, and at least five years as a CPSM holder.
As a national SMPS leader, Jeffrey co-authored Domain 2 (Planning) for the 2023 MARKENDIUM update, served on the inaugural Fellows Committee from 2023-2024 and currently co-chairs the committee in 2025. He co-chaired the 2021 Build Business Fellows Forum focusing on client perspectives on DEI practices, served on the 2021 Marketer Journal Editorial Committee Task Force, and has authored over a half-dozen articles for Marketer Journal covering topics from proposal quality assurance to onboarding best practices and social media strategy development.
At the chapter level, Jeffrey demonstrates sustained commitment through leadership that spans nearly two decades. He served as President of SMPS New Jersey from 2010-2011, guiding the strategic chapter merger with SMPS New York in 2012. For SMPS New York, he served as Chapter Champion from 2021-2022 and has co-chaired the Mentorship Program since 2022 while serving as a mentor since 2018. He has also contributed to other chapters by serving on the SMPS Philadelphia Communications Committee from 2019-2021, serving as an MCA Juror for SMPS Boston and SMPS Philadelphia, and teaching CPSM Boot Camp courses for SMPS DC.
His thought leadership extends to foundational industry research, having served as chapter researcher for the SMPS Foundation publication “AEC Business Development: The Decade Ahead” in 2013. He has also earned recognition as SMPS Member of the Month and served as juror for the 2019 Marketing Communications Awards at the national level.
