With over 30 years of comprehensive AEC industry experience, Heather has been involved in virtually every aspect of professional services firms, including drafting, electrical and architectural design, accounting, human resources, administration, and project management. This multifaceted background has proven instrumental in her strategic approach to marketing, client relationship cultivation, and creative problem-solving.
Her expertise spans commercial, institutional, educational, and infrastructure markets serving clients throughout Indiana and the broader Great Lakes region. Heather specializes in connecting clients with the right experts and solutions, fostering strong partnerships that deliver exceptional value through collaborative, relationship-focused business development.
Heather demonstrates extraordinary professional leadership through both her CPSM certification and her prestigious FSMPS designation, representing the highest level of achievement in AEC marketing. As a Fellow of SMPS, she has been recognized for exceptional contributions to the profession and continues to serve as a resource and mentor within the Society.
Her most significant leadership contribution came through her service as President of SMPS Indiana Chapter during 2017-2018, where she was responsible for driving the mission to transform business through marketing leadership for one of the most active chapters in the Midwest. Under her leadership, the chapter provided valuable professional development, networking opportunities, and educational programming to over 150 members representing diverse AEC firms across Indiana.
Heather continues her commitment to professional excellence through active involvement in SMPS initiatives, including leading Coffee & Chats series on market research and serving as a juror for the Marketing Communications Awards in both 2021 and 2022-2023, helping evaluate and recognize outstanding marketing work across the AEC industry. Her 30+ years of diverse industry experience spanning technical, administrative, and strategic roles provides unique perspective that enhances both individual and organizational professional development.
