David leads marketing and business development strategy for Geosyntec Consultants, a global consulting and engineering firm with 2,600+ professionals serving clients across environmental, natural resources, and civil infrastructure challenges. As Senior Marketing Specialist, he supports strategic communications, proposal development, and business development initiatives for a firm operating from 130+ offices worldwide, including locations throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Spain, Finland, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.
His expertise spans multiple environmental and infrastructure sectors including water and natural resources, coastal and waterfront engineering, environmental site assessment and remediation, geotechnical engineering, infrastructure design, waste management, air quality, and climate resiliency. David brings specialized knowledge in marketing for engineering and environmental consulting serving public and private sector clients throughout California and beyond.
With a decade of AEC industry experience, he has held progressive marketing roles at nationally recognized firms including SGPA Architecture and Planning, T.Y. Lin International (TYLin), and Randall Lamb Associates. His career began in San Diego’s architecture and engineering sector, where he developed comprehensive marketing expertise supporting firms specializing in mixed-use, retail, education, healthcare, senior living, and civic projects. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Product Design & Material Studies from the University of Oregon (2010-2014), where he distinguished himself through academic excellence and leadership as risk manager of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and earned Eagle Scout recognition.
