Her expertise spans civil engineering marketing across multiple sectors including transportation infrastructure, bridge and tunnel design, building structural engineering, higher education facilities, athletic and recreation projects, municipal services, and private development. Cristina brings specialized knowledge in proposal development and management, having previously led global proposal teams for 17 years at Development Dimensions International. Her career includes over 36 years of comprehensive marketing and business development experience spanning technology, consulting, and engineering sectors.
With deep roots in Pennsylvania’s civil engineering community, Cristina supports Stahl Sheaffer’s work with public sector clients including PennDOT, PA Turnpike Commission, WVDOT, and various municipal agencies, as well as private development and energy sector projects across three states.
Cristina demonstrates exceptional professional leadership through her CPSM certification and distinguished service to SMPS Central Pennsylvania, including serving as Chapter President during the 2018-2019 program year. Her presidential term focused on member engagement, professional development programming, and strengthening the chapter’s position among the 60 SMPS chapters nationwide. Under her leadership, SMPS Central PA continued its tradition of providing valuable networking, educational programs, and industry connections for AEC marketing professionals throughout central Pennsylvania.
Her commitment to the AEC marketing profession began early in her SMPS journey, earning the prestigious 2012 Horizon Award which recognizes professionals new to the industry who demonstrate outstanding potential and early success. This early recognition validated her rapid impact and set the foundation for years of continued chapter involvement and leadership development. As Past President, Cristina continues to support chapter initiatives, mentorship programs, and professional development activities that advance the entire regional AEC marketing community.
Cristina’s leadership extends beyond SMPS through her role as Business Partner Director for the Keystone Chapter of APPA (formerly KAPPA), where she builds lasting relationships between facilities professionals in the educational marketplace and engineering service providers. Her involvement demonstrates the collaborative approach essential to successful AEC marketing and business development.
With 36+ years of comprehensive marketing experience spanning multiple industry sectors, Cristina brings valuable perspective on proposal management excellence, business development strategy, and the evolution of professional services marketing from traditional approaches to today’s sophisticated digital and data-driven methodologies.
