As Director of Communications, he oversees corporate communications strategy, brand management, publications development, and media relations for a firm that has been serving public and private clients for more than 125 years.

His expertise spans environmental engineering, water resources, municipal infrastructure, transportation, and climate resiliency marketing across public sector agencies and private development entities throughout the Northeast and expanding into Southeast markets. Chuck brings specialized knowledge in strategic marketing planning, proposal development, business development training, and corporate communications, with deep experience in market research and competitive positioning. With over 30 years of AEC industry experience, he has contributed to marketing excellence at prominent environmental consulting firms including Geosyntec Consultants.

His comprehensive understanding of environmental and infrastructure markets enables effective communications support for complex projects ranging from municipal water systems to climate adaptation initiatives, helping position Weston & Sampson’s multidisciplinary capabilities for competitive advantage.

Chuck demonstrates exceptional professional leadership through two decades of CPSM certification achievement and distinguished service on the SMPS Boston board of directors, where he has served in multiple leadership roles including Director of Outreach and active committee participation. His board leadership involves coordinating member engagement initiatives, supporting professional development programs, and advancing the chapter’s mission to transform business through marketing leadership for hundreds of AEC professionals throughout the Boston region.

As a longtime SMPS Boston board member, Chuck has contributed to programming that includes CPSM study groups, professional development workshops, networking events, and educational initiatives that advance the entire regional AEC marketing community. He has served as a CPSM study group leader for multiple years, helping dozens of professionals achieve their certification. His 2020 recognition as SMPS Boston Marketing Professional of the Year honors his significant contributions to both his firm and the broader profession.

Chuck brings extensive cross-industry leadership, serving on the board of directors for the Boston Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and maintaining active involvement in the Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC).
