Chaz brings transformative B2B marketing leadership to the construction technology sector, driving growth for solutions that digitize infrastructure construction projects. As Head of Marketing at Datumate, she leads strategic initiatives for a pioneering construction data analytics platform trusted by major departments of transportation, project owners, and general contractors worldwide. The cloud-based DatuBIM platform utilizes drone and laser scanning mapping alongside advanced automation and photogrammetry to provide full visibility into infrastructure and transportation projects.
Her expertise spans infrastructure construction technology, heavy civil construction, digital construction management, CRM strategy, proposal automation, and SaaS marketing for the AEC industry. With over 15 years of AEC marketing experience, Chaz has helped firms secure more than $700 million in contracts across infrastructure, transportation, civil engineering, and construction sectors. She brings specialized knowledge in customer relationship management systems, proposal development processes, marketing automation, and customer success strategies.
Her entrepreneurship background from the University of South Florida, combined with extensive experience at firms including ProjectMark, Unanet, Hamilton Engineering, Burns & McDonnell, HOK, and Lendlease, positions her as a strategic thought leader in construction technology marketing and AEC business development transformation.
Chaz demonstrates exceptional professional leadership through her CPSM certification achievement and pioneering contributions as a published author in the AEC marketing field. She has authored two influential books that have become essential resources for AEC professionals: “Sink or Swim Faster! Making a Splash in Marketing Professional Services” helps onboard new AEC marketers, while “CRM or Die: Manage Your Client Relationships or Perish” (co-authored with Courtney Kearney, CPSM) empowers firm leaders to champion data stewardship and client relationship management excellence.
As an active SMPS Tampa Bay member and sought-after industry speaker, Chaz has presented at numerous SMPS conferences including the Southeast Regional Conference, Southern Regional Conference, and national SMPS Lunchtime Learning Labs.
