Becky leads comprehensive public engagement and strategic communications initiatives for HNTB Corporation, one of the nation’s premier infrastructure solutions design firms. As Manager of Public Engagement & Communications, she develops and executes stakeholder engagement strategies for complex transportation and infrastructure projects, working collaboratively with technical teams, government agencies, and diverse community stakeholders to ensure transparent communication throughout project lifecycles.
Her expertise spans transportation infrastructure, bridge and roadway projects, transit systems, and community engagement planning serving state departments of transportation and municipal clients across the southeastern United States. Becky brings specialized knowledge in stakeholder communications, public involvement strategies, and community outreach for major infrastructure projects, including historic renovations like Chattanooga’s Walnut Street Bridge.
With distinguished leadership experience across prominent AEC firms including JMT as Associate Vice President & Director of Communication, and Vaughn & Melton (now a JMT company) as Chief Marketing Officer, Becky has built an extensive career in strategic communications. Her comprehensive understanding of infrastructure development, combined with advanced education including an MBA and pursuit of a Doctor of Management degree, enables her to craft compelling narratives that engage communities and advance complex projects.
