Professional expertise

Ashley leads comprehensive marketing and business development strategy for Modern Mobility Partners, supporting the firm’s mission of delivering innovative transportation planning and traffic engineering solutions. As Director of Marketing for a women and minority-owned (DBE/WBE/MBE/SBE) transportation consulting firm founded in 2018, she oversees strategic communications, proposal coordination, and market positioning for an award-winning practice serving Atlanta and Orlando markets.

Her expertise spans transportation planning, transit planning, traffic engineering, and smart mobility consulting with deep specialization in strategic marketing for complex infrastructure projects. Ashley brings comprehensive knowledge of AEC marketing best practices gained through progressive experience that has contributed to more than $1 billion in successful project pursuits during her 18-year career, with 16 years focused specifically in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

Her educational foundation from the University of Central Florida in Journalism with a Business Administration minor provides distinctive capabilities in creating compelling narratives that resonate with public agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, cities, counties, and state departments of transportation.

Industry leadership

Ashley demonstrates exceptional professional leadership through her CPSM certification and sustained active engagement with SMPS Central Florida. Her commitment to advancing professional services marketing excellence has earned her significant recognition, including the 2019 Board Member of the Year Award from SMPS Central Florida—an honor that acknowledges outstanding dedication to chapter success and the broader AEC marketing community.

As an active SMPS Central Florida board member, Ashley contributes to programming, professional development initiatives, and networking events that serve hundreds of AEC marketing professionals throughout the region. Her board service reflects the collaborative leadership approach that characterizes women-owned firms committed to diversity, inclusion, and professional advancement.

Ashley’s industry leadership extends beyond SMPS to include significant engagement with WTS International (Women’s Transportation Seminar), where she has served as Scholarship Chair for the Central Florida Chapter since January 2022. In this influential role, she oversees scholarship programs that provide financial support and professional development opportunities to women pursuing careers in transportation.

Her commitment to mentoring is further demonstrated through previous service as a mentor for the UCF LEAD Scholars Program. Ashley’s professional development at the University of Central Florida extended well beyond the classroom—as a four-year member of the Marching Knights’ Starlet Knights Color guard, president of the John T. Washington Honor Society, researcher in the prestigious Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program, and founding member of the National Association of Black Journalists—UCF Chapter.

As a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and former member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Ashley continues to demonstrate commitment to community service and professional excellence rooted in values of scholarship, service, and leadership.
