Amy leads corporate communications strategy for EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC, a 100% employee-owned public benefit corporation and leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services with more than 600 professionals across 25 offices nationwide. As Vice President and Director of Communications, she develops and executes comprehensive communication strategies that expand EA’s reputation while advancing the firm’s unique employee-owned culture and business objectives.
Her extensive expertise spans strategic communications planning, brand management, employee engagement, public and media relations, internal communications, and digital content strategy. Amy specializes in supporting environmental engineering, water resources, and infrastructure projects with deep knowledge in corporate communications, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement. She brings a strategic approach to communications that helps position firms for competitive advantage while creating maximum organizational impact.
With more than 35 years of AEC industry experience, Amy has contributed to communications excellence at nationally recognized engineering firms including 29 years at KCI Technologies, where she advanced from Marketing Coordinator to Vice President and Director of Corporate Communications. Her comprehensive understanding of the engineering and environmental consulting process enables effective communications support for complex projects spanning water resources, environmental compliance, natural resources management, and infrastructure development.
Amy demonstrates exceptional professional leadership through her CPSM certification and extensive industry engagement spanning multiple professional associations. Her sustained commitment to professional development and civic leadership reflects the collaborative culture that characterizes both the employee-owned firm she serves and her dedication to elevating the AEC communications profession.
Throughout her distinguished 29-year tenure at KCI Technologies, Amy earned promotion from Marketing Coordinator to Vice President and Director of Corporate Communications, where she managed all internal and external communications programs including strategic planning, brand management, recruiting and retention, employee engagement, and media relations. Her leadership supported one of the Mid-Atlantic’s most respected engineering firms through strategic initiatives, change management, and corporate culture development. Amy’s strategic communications approach helped position KCI Technologies for success on major infrastructure, transportation, and water resources projects throughout the region.
Amy brings significant leadership experience through her active involvement with professional organizations including the American Council of Engineering Companies/Maryland (ACEC-MD), American Society of Civil Engineers Maryland Chapter, and American Water Resources Association Delaware Chapter. She serves on the Board of Directors of Leadership Baltimore County, an organization she graduated from in 2016, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to developing regional leadership. Her published work includes articles on water infrastructure, bridge consensus building, and innovative video communications, showcasing thought leadership in AEC industry topics. Additionally, Amy holds FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot certification, reflecting her commitment to emerging technologies in project documentation and communications.
