Raytheon Secures $29.2M Navy Mod to Boost SM-6 Missile Production Capacity
Raytheon Co. of Tucson, Arizona has received a $29.19 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification under an existing contract (N00024-20-C-5405) to procure and develop specialized tooling and test equipment needed to expand production capacity for the Standard Missile-6 (SM-6) All Up Round, with work to be performed in Tucson, Arizona (47%); Middletown, Connecticut (32%); and Westminster, Maryland (21%), and scheduled for completion by Sept. 30, 2028; $14.59 million in fiscal year 2025 Navy weapons procurement funds will be obligated at the time of award and will remain available beyond the current fiscal year, and the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C. is the contracting authority.
