Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Awards $249M Contract for Missile Defense Infrastructure

Black & Veatch-Jacobs JV, Leawood, Kansas, is awarded a $249,000,000 indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity architect-engineer (A-E) contract for A-E services for construction of missile defense system and supporting infrastructure projects. This contract provides for execution and delivery of site development and planning. Work will be performed in Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (70%), Hawaii (20%), Australia (5%), Japan (5%). Fiscal 2023 military construction (MILCON) (planning and design) contract funds in the amount of $25,000 are obligated for the minimum guarantee of this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Future task orders will be primarily funded by MILCON, (planning and design). This contract was competitively procured via the sam.gov website with two proposals received.
