Lockheed Martin Wins $142.6M Contract for UAE THAAD Missile Defense Support

Lockheed Martin Space, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a $142,621,543 noncompetitive, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and firm-fixed-price contract modification (P00073) under a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The total value of the contract increased to $876,747,896. Under this modification, the contractor will provide continued maintenance and sustainment support for two Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Batteries for UAE. The scope of work includes logistics management, logistics product database, training, missile and ground repair and return, hardware and software development and sustainment, hardware in the loop, engineering services, missile field surveillance program, and country unique specialty engineering for FMS client. The work will be performed in the UAE; Sunnyvale, California; Grand Prairie, Texas; Camden, Arkansas; Huntsville, Alabama; Anniston, Alabama; and Troy, Alabama.  The performance period is from January 2026 through August 2028. One offer was solicited, and one offer was received. UAE FMS funds in the amount of $142,621,543 are being obligated on this modification. The Missile Defense Agency, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity (HQ0147-19-C-5001).
