L3Harris Wins $12M Navy Contract for MIDS Terminal Block Upgrade Repairs

L3Harris Technologies, Communication Systems-West, Salt Lake City, Utah, is being awarded $11,955,764 for a firm-fixed-price long-term contract for the repair of one component in support of the Multifunctional Information Distribution Systems Low Volume Terminal Block Upgrade 2 with the Common Systems Integrated Weapon Support Team. The contract does not include an option provision. All work will be performed in Salt Lake City, Utah. Work is expected to be completed by February 2031. Applicable fiscal year working capital funds (Navy) will fund the award, but no funds are being obligated at the time of award. One source was solicited for this sole-source requirement pursuant to the authority set forth in 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1) and one offer was received. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (N00383-26-D-U001).
