Boeing Secures $2.04B Air Force Contract for B-52 Engine Replacement Program

Boeing Defense Systems, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was awarded a $2,044,005,063 task order, for B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) Post-Critical Design Review (PCDR) Development. The task order progresses the B-52 CERP program by completing system integration activities after Critical Design Review and modifying and testing two B-52 aircraft with new engines and associated subsystems. The location of performance is Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; San Antonio, Texas; Seattle, Washington; and Indianapolis, Indiana, and work is expected to be complete by May 31, 2033. This effort will be incrementally funded starting with Fiscal 2026 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $35,774,115 being obligated at the time of award. Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (FA8628-19-D-1000/FA8107-26-F-B001).
