Black Hills Ammunition Wins $40M DoD Contract for 6.5mm Creedmoor Long-Range Ammunition

Black Hills Ammunition Inc.,* Rapid City, South Dakota, is being awarded a $40,000,000 firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for 6.5mm Creedmoor cartridge special ball long range ammunition, Department of Defense Identification Code AC58. This contract does not include options. Work will be performed in Rapid City, South Dakota, and is expected to be completed by August 2030.
