Bell Textron Wins $14.1M Marine Corps Mod for AH-1Z and UH-1Y Support Services
Bell Textron Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas, has received a $14.07 million contract modification (P00012) to a cost-plus-fixed-fee order under an existing basic ordering agreement, exercising options to continue providing program management, engineering, and logistics support throughout calendar year 2026 for the integration and sustainment of the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom helicopters supporting the U.S. Marine Corps as well as the governments of Bahrain and the Czech Republic. The work will be conducted primarily in Fort Worth, Texas (80%), with additional effort in Patuxent River, Maryland (20%), and is scheduled for completion by December 2026. Funding obligated at award includes FY 2026 Navy operations and maintenance funds of $1.93 million, FY 2026 Navy aircraft procurement funds of $363,332, and $4.34 million in Foreign Military Sales funds, with the operations and maintenance portion expiring at the end of the current fiscal year. The order and underlying contract were sole-sourced, and the contracting authority is the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland.
