$45.5M Contract Secured by Sierra Nevada Co. for Navy Precision Landing System Beacons

Sierra Nevada Co. LLC, Sparks, Nevada, is awarded a $45,511,237 firm-fixed-price contract for the production and delivery of 160 AN/APN-246 Beacons in support of upgrade efforts related to the precision approach and landing systems for the Navy. Work will be performed in Sparks, Nevada, and is expected to be completed August 2027. Fiscal 2025 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $45,511,237 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
